BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT COURSES

This course is suitable for individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators.

Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

Course Duration

Total Course Duration of 36 weeks include:

  • Face-to-face sessions in the classroom

  • Simulated business/real work place sessions

  • Study Breaks

 

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of Year 10 or equivalent

  • Overseas student must have a minimum overall band of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.

 

You will need

Positive attitude and an interest in business. No previous training in business is required to undertake this course.

Assessment

The units of competency are assessed using any of the following methods:                                                        

  • Portfolios

  • Essays

  • Reports

  • Role-Play

  • Practical observations

  • Case studies

  • Questioning, simulation activities

  • Written tests may be used to gather evidence.

 

After Successful Completion of

Diploma of Business, students may undertake Advanced Diploma of Business.
