Enrolment Procedure

The enrolment process is a form of contract between the student and the education provider, indicating a student's commitment to complete the principle courses. We are committed to provide you the best quality services which includes the administrative processes from enrolment to graduation, the facilities and equipment to support your learning experience here with us and the delivery of your course.

Organizing Student Visa

The Australian Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) provides the most up-to-date information about student visa requirements. For more details, please visit www.homeaffairs.gov.au for the latest information. To have your student visa granted, and to maintain it during your stay in Australia, you must comply with visa conditions. These include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Complete the course within the duration specified in the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress and attendance.

  • Hold an approved Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of your stay in Australia.

  • Remain with your principle education provider for at least 6 calendar months, unless released in accordance with the National Code.
    attend another provider.

  • Notify AILFE of your Australian residential address within 7 days of arrival, and update AILFE within 7 days if it changes.

  • Maintain a valid visa and passport at all times.

  • Work only within the limits of your student visa conditions.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal process that assesses your previous study, work, and life experiences to determine if they can count towards your qualification. This means you may not need to repeat units where you have already demonstrated the required skills and knowledge.

Evidence required may include:

  • A detailed résumé/CV and job description.

  • Reference letters from supervisors or managers (on company letterhead).

  • Training certificates.

  • Performance reviews.

  • An assessment interview or discussion with a Trainer/Assessor.

 

Important: All RPL applications are assessed individually, and credit will only be granted once evidence is verified against the unit(s) of competency.

Organizing Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

International students are required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa. You will need to purchase OSHC before you arrive Australia and prior to your student application. You can fill the application form and request the institution to organize OSHC on your behalf, alternatively you can puchase OSHC through a number of private providers listed below:
