MANAGEMENT COURSES

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills, and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. 

 

Individuals at this level display initiative and judgment in planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organizational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources.

Course Duration

The total Course Duration of 52 weeks includes:

  • Face-to-face sessions in the classroom

  • Simulated business/real work place sessions

  • Study Breaks

 

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of Year 10 or equivalent

  • Overseas students must have a minimum overall band of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.

 

You will need

Positive attitude and an interest in the business. No previous training in business is required to undertake this course.

Assessment

The units of competency are assessed using any of the following methods:                                                        

  • Portfolios

  • Essays

  • Reports

  • Role-Play

  • Practical observations

  • Case studies

  • Questioning, simulation activities

  • Written tests may be used to gather evidence.

 

After the Successful Completion of

Diploma of Leadership and Management, students may undertake the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.
